guess that means i need to collect scraps of fabric. oh, and buy a sewing machine! hmm...definitely need a piece of leopard fabric and a piece of red fabric to represent the clippers. maybe get the number 32 embroidered on it. hehe. not sure what else, but i'll figure it out. maybe i can cut some old shirts up? hmm...

Bagels.

I've never LOVED bagels, but that recently changed. Here's my story:

I stopped by a Bruegger's for some breakfast a couple weeks ago and it turned out to be a really good decision. I had read reviews on Yelp about the amazing rosemary olive oil bagel w/ onion and chive cream cheese, so I thought I'd give it a try. Well, now I LOVE bagels. I mean, I kind of liked them before - but, I really appreciate them now. I crave them all the time. Hehe. I like to have my bagel with a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice.

Next entry: My appreciation for smoked salmon.

The saddest thing about the Clippers losing tonight is that I won't get to see Blake play anymore. Not until the preseason starts in October anyway. I'm going to miss him...

The Clippers lost to the Spurs tonight, but they put up a darn good fight. Even though all odds were against them, they definitely didn't give the Spurs an easy win. Playing against a team like the Spurs is tough, but the Clippers did well. Proud face.

Since the Clippers have been eliminated from the playoffs, I will be rooting for the Oklahoma City Thunder to win the championship. Watching Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook play basketball is mind-blowing. They're freaking amazing. Young and unstoppable. They will win tomorrow night against the Lakers. Then, Spurs vs. OKC. That's going to be an amazing match-up. Exciting!

Today was my favorite day in Minnesota. The reason is because I had dinner with the most interesting people in the world. Never knew robotics could be so fun and exciting. Haha. This business trip has turned out to be pretty great. I've learned so much at this conference and my roommate is SO cool. She's like an older sister, so I find myself sharing with her very easily. She's very honest and straight-forward, so it's great. I'm sad I have to leave Friday morning...I'm going to miss the people, like I always do wherever I go. There's a reason God made me the way I am. Meeting new people brings me to life. Haha. I think I can do this long-term. Travel, meet people. It's really fun. I like being out of the office more than sitting in front of my computer all day. I won't really get to see Minnesota on this trip, but at least I got to meet some amazing people. My hotel is actually right by the Mississippi River, so I'm kind of sad I don't get to see it before I leave. Oh well. I guess this is what happens when you're just here on business. Heh. Tomorrow is my last day, so I intend on making the best of it.
