If I could, I'd get a cup of joe at Peet's every morning and read the word (on my Kindle touch!) before work. Hehe.

But, instead - I treat myself to a latte once a week (so little...) and read the Bible in my car right before I step into the office. Never thought I'd be this girl, a girl who sips her coffee and reads. But, I am and I'm very proud. Hehe.

In ten days, I will be on a plane headed for New York City.
*You can't see me smiling, but I am. Hehe. 

I will pack myself a snack of some sort for the flight. Macarons, probably. Maybe a turkey sandwich.

And, once I land in New York - my perfect week in the city will begin.

Fact: New York is one of my favorite cities - followed by Paris, France and Seoul, South Korea.

My decision was made after careful thought and consideration.
Can't wait to get it in the mail. Yay!
Getting my kindle touch will mark one of the happiest moments in 2012.

Lin fever.

It all happened on the morning after the Knicks defeated the Nets on Saturday, February 4 for me. I was browsing the internet and while I was clicking away, I came across a video highlighting Jeremy Lin's swagger on the court against the Nets. It was amazing. Swoon.

The most inspiring thing about Lin is his armor-like faith. Whether you follow him on Facebook or Twitter, it is very clear that God is a huge part of this man's life. As he said, "If you look back at my story, doesn't matter where you look, God's fingerprints are all over the place."  He loves Jesus more than basketball. Swoon. 

But, of course - he gets to train and play basketball with other amazing players like Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler, Landry Fields, Steve Novak, etc. Yes, I know their names too. In your face!

I hope I get to see the Knicks play when I visit New York. Pretty please. I would love that.
