David did what we must do in our everyday lives. He simply inquired of the Lord. He did not assume victory or conclude that going to fight was the best and only option, he let God decide.

You cannot have a successful journey in life without seeking divine direction in your endeavors. You must yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit in your life to direct and guide you; He will never lead you astray.

He is the divine navigator, follow His lead today.

Intelligent Design is the understanding that the complexity, beauty and composition of this world is the work of an intelligent mind as opposed to a random, non-purposeful chain of events. Creationists believe that this Intelligent Designer is God.

God, your Intelligent Designer and perfect potter knows just what purpose you were created for. You are the work of His hand and only in His hands, can you be molded, fired up and shaped to fulfill His desired will for your life.

Purpose represents something God has placed in your heart to become; a role He has chosen for you to fulfill; a place He has destined for you to occupy and a need He has created you in answer to. You have been created for a purpose.

It is no accident that God brought you into this world at this time, in this place and to this set of people in your generation. You are here because God wants you here.

Let him show you His will for your life.

My life is entirely defined by the food I eat. I love food. Without food, family gatherings would be incomplete and European vacations would be...well, mediocre.

After my Flintridge Center orientation tomorrow morning, I will drive myself to Euro Pane Bakery and buy myself an egg salad sandwich (the famous one) and a few macarons. Then, I will sit by the window and enjoy my sandwich. I am so excited.

I'm sort of hooked on this old show from the nineties - Felicity. I think I might love it as much as I love the Gilmore Girls.

I love how archaic the show is. Dorm room telephones, floppy disks, tape recorders. Little reminders of how wonderful the nineties were.

So, anyway - there's this one question Felicity asks Noel (her friend, at the time) when she's going through a semi-crisis with her crush, Ben. She asks him, "Is it possible to be just friends with someone I have immoderate feelings for or am I doomed forever to just be in love and ultimately, I think significantly hurt?"

So, is it possible?
